Every year the Crawford County Avalanche asks readers to vote for their favorite local people, businesses, and foods. For 2022, the votes have been tallied. This year’s Crawford County Avalanche Readers Choice event featured awards for favorite bartender, accountant, real estate agent, policeman, teacher, waiter/waitress, bank teller, hair stylist, insurance agent, physician, car salesperson, and cashier. For services such as pet grooming, oil changes, car washes, lodging, real estate, lawn care, snow removal, and car repair, which businesses came out on top in the voting? In the food categories, which places earned the most votes for their French fries, soup, ice cream, hamburgers, pizza, breakfast, beer, Mexican food, baked goods, and coffee?
